Here at Stonehaven farm, we have many activities available such as kayaking, mountain biking and hiking…but sometimes when on holiday one just wants to kick back, sip on a glass of red and relax! What is a better way to soothe the spirit and body than a long steamy soak in your very own KolKol Wood-fired Hot Tub? Well, from our experience (and our guests’) very little can compare to the tranquility and enjoyment of a jacuzzi bath in nature, especially when you have panoramic views of the Hemel en Aarde valley.
Every single Eco-Cabin at Stonehaven farm comes with their very own private KolKol Wood-fired Hot Tub. Your worries about load shedding can be put to rest because these eco-friendly private jacuzzis do not use any electricity! The water is heated using a stainless-steel wood-fire stove which fits neatly into a corner and is well protected to avoid injuries. Once the fire of your private jacuzzi is lit, the KolKol Wood-fired Hot Tub up only takes an hour to an hour and 30 minutes to reach 38 degrees celsius.
TOP TIP FOR USING YOUR WOOD FIRED KOL KOL HOT TUB!!
Use only a handful of wood (3-4 blocks) as the jacuzzis heat up very quickly and take long to cool down. So we suggest rather adding more once its warm in order to maintain and increase the heat.
